What to use: frozen ice pops, pectin ointment or topical mouth analgesic.

  • To reduce the pain and to minimize the swelling take an ice cube in your mouth.
  • Use cold water to gargle or have a frozen ice pop.
  • Don't eat spicy foods or sharp foods as they can increase the pain.
  • Buy a pectin ointment or topical mouth analgesic and apply it on the burn.
