Creating low fat meals

Low Fat Diets
It  has been showed that low fat diets don’t protect the body from diseases. it’s extremely important to have good fats included into a healthy meal plan.


  • It’s advisable to plan the meals with a week or 3 days before in order to be able to buy the needed ingredients.
  • It’s recommended to have 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day. You can find via the internet a fruit and vegetable chart where you will see the fat content and the nutritious value.
  • Eat lean cuts of meat and always remove the visible fat. In case you are using the oven to prepare the meat, take a rack and tray in order to keep the fat drippings away from the meat.
  • Don’t fry meals. It’s advisable to grill, roast, bake or broil instead.
  • Purchase or make condiments and marinades that are low in fats.
  • Pay attention to the size of your portion of chicken and meat. Reduce the size if you consider it is too much.
