Treating male infertility

Male infertility can be treated. There are many methods that can be used in order to treat this diagnosis.


  1. Avoid items that compress the testicles, wear loose underwear.
    The sperm count can also be decreased by the heat, thus stay away from hot tubs.
  2. Pay attention to your diet. Don’t smoke and don’t take recreational drugs. It’s recommended to have only one drink of alcohol per day. Eat more vegetables, fruits and whole grains and have low fat diary. Reduce the consumption of fat and sugar and make sure you are having enough minerals and vitamins. Keep in mind, having a healthy diet can improve your fertility.
  3. In case of hormonal imbalance, take Clomid. Clomid is a pill that increases the sperm counts and lowers the quantity of abnormal sperm.
  4. In case of varicocele or twisted vein in the testicles, surgery is needed. It has been estimated that there are 50% chances for the surgery to work. The results can be seen in about 5 months.
  5. IVF is another method for treating infertility in men. The eggs of the women are harvested from her body and a single sperm is injected into each egg. Afterwords, the eggs are replaced into her body, in order for the eggs to turn and grow into a baby.
