Eating healthy diet on the go

Healthy Eating
It’s extremely important to have a healthy breakfast even if you are rushing. Breakfast must contain nutrients in order to offer you a lasting energy.

What to use: English muffins, bananas, fruit juices, peanut butter, whole-grain bread.

  • If you are on the run, take breakfast with you. You can easily pack a whole-grain bagel or muffin, a boiled egg, fruits and yogurt or some peanut butter.
  • Do your shopping in advance. Purchase small containers with juices, whole-grain unsweetened cereals and eggs.
  • You can have for breakfast a leftover pizza.
  • In case you don’t have the time to prepare your breakfast at home, buy something on the way. Don’t buy sweet pastries or doughnuts because they are rich in empty calories and will slump your energy.
  • You can buy a bagel, cream cheese, a whole-grain muffin, an English muffin or quiche.
  • Always check the labels of the popular breakfast or energy bars. Plenty of them are simply rich in sugar.
  • It’s important to eat something in the morning irrespective if you are hungry or not. You can have a banana or an apple, or just a slice of whole-grain toast.
