While there are mixed views on the Dukan diet, the reality is that thousands of people have been successful and the same are beginning to see the results. This diet consists of the consumption of certain foods, specially selected and distributed over four phases.

The first phase, also known as the attack phase, 72 is based on eating foods specially chosen for their high protein content.
The only source of fiber to consume is 1 tablespoon of oat bran to prepare the famous Dukan cake. What is sought at this stage is to reduce weight at the expense of fatty tissue. This phase will get down as many kilos or pounds.

After about 7 days to perform phase 1, start the second phase or cruise phase. 28 in which you include vegetables to your diet and 2 tablespoons you increase the amount of oats to consume. During this phase, the menu is divided into days in which you can only eat protein, vegetables and other days only. The objective of this stage is to reach the desired weight.

Once you get to the weight you wanted and needed consolidation phase begins, in which you can eat fruit, cheese, vegetables and pasta. These last 2 food only 1 time a week. Also continue with eating 3 tablespoons of oatmeal. The objective of this stage is to keep the weight without regaining what was lost.

Finally the stabilization phase allows you to learn to eat and that this learning will serve you for your entire life. One of the highlights of this stage is that every Thursday you make a high protein diet. It is also important that you continue eating 3 tablespoons of oat bran per day.

As with any diet, the Dukan diet is advised to practice daily physical activity at least 20 minutes.
